This item is offered as being for the Lenovo Ideapad A1. It is labelled as for a Kindle 3. The Lenovo is slightly thicker and larger than the Kindle. It will fit in the case, with a little applied force, but I found that the elastic corner retainer at the top will operate the power switch. It could happen while being carried, resulting in a flat battery!
